The TTS App is a serverless web application that uses Google Cloud Text-to-Speech APIs to convert user-provided text into synthetic audio.
Anonymous access (trial): The app may allow anonymous (non-registered) use with limited free trials. Based on current implementation, anonymous users are limited to 2 trials and short audio requests are limited to 500 characters per request. These limits are enforced server-side and may change over time.
Registered users: Creating an account unlocks full features such as Long Audio synthesis and Custom Voice creation (where available), subject to your credit balance and any applicable technical limits.
Account security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
Credit system: The app uses a credit-based system. Credits are deducted based on your usage (for example, characters/bytes processed and the voice model selected). Pricing and credit costs may vary by model and may be updated; the app’s Pricing page reflects current pricing.
Technical limits: The service enforces request size limits (for example, short audio up to 5,000 bytes and long audio up to 100,000 bytes), as well as other limits for stability and abuse prevention.
Rate limits and cooldowns: To protect the service and prevent automated abuse, we may enforce (a) request rate limits (how many requests can be made in a period of time) and/or (b) cooldown periods (a minimum time interval between certain actions, such as generating audio). If you exceed these limits, your request may be rejected and you may need to wait before retrying.
Temporary blocks: If we detect excessive, automated, or abusive usage patterns (for example, repeated rate-limit violations), we may temporarily restrict access to some or all features for your account for a period of time. Temporary blocks are an automated protective measure and may be lifted automatically after the restriction period ends.
Paid credits: Purchased credits do not expire unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Monthly free package: Eligible accounts may receive a recurring monthly free credit allowance in the amount currently shown in the app. Monthly free credits reset each billing cycle to the then-current package amount, and unused free credits do not roll over.
No refunds: Purchased credits are non-refundable. If the service charges credits for an operation and the operation fails, the app may automatically refund those credits in accordance with its current implementation.
We may offer a promotional or always-free monthly credit package to eligible new users as shown in the app. To prevent abuse (for example, multiple sign-ups to claim free credits), we use anti-abuse controls that may include email normalization/hashing, IP address checks, device fingerprinting (for trial enforcement), and other security signals.
Eligibility for the free package is determined during the initial account onboarding flow. Once an account has legitimately qualified, later monthly free-credit refreshes are based on that prior qualification. Creating multiple accounts to obtain promotional credits or bypass trial limits is prohibited. We may withhold promotional credits or restrict access when abuse is suspected.
You may use generated audio for personal or commercial purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the text and any voice samples you provide, and that your use complies with applicable laws and third-party terms.
You must not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes (including impersonation, fraud, or violations of privacy or intellectual property).
Custom Voice creation requires a recording of a specific consent script and a reference audio sample. By submitting these recordings, you represent that you are the voice owner (or have lawful permission) and that you consent to the processing required to create a synthetic voice.
Custom voices are associated with your account and are not shared with other users through the app.
Generated audio is stored on Google Cloud Storage. The app provides time-limited download access via signed URLs. Based on current implementation, signed download links expire after approximately 24 hours.
You are responsible for downloading and backing up your audio files promptly.
We may temporarily restrict access (for example, during maintenance or “dev mode”), enforce rate limits and cooldown periods, or temporarily block usage to protect the service, other users, and our infrastructure, and to prevent abuse.
You may request deletion of your account using the “My Account” page. Deletion removes your primary user profile and related data from our database (including your credits balance, custom voices, and operation history).
Important exception: To prevent fraud and abuse of free trials/credits, we preserve certain security/anti-abuse records (for example, registration history signals such as email hashes, IP records, and device fingerprints) even after account deletion. Because of these records, a newly created replacement account may not qualify for the free package again.
AI synthesis may not produce identical results for the same text and settings every time. Output quality may vary across languages, voices, and models.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service.
Receipts and tax invoices for our services are issued by our merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy, LLC (a Stripe company).
